Hello there, today we will talk about one of the subjects of tragedy that occurred this week.
Of course you all know what it is, the suicide of joe keller which caused a shock for all of us.
Joe was a self-made businessman who started out as a semi
skilled laborer and worked his way up in the business world to become a successful
manufacturer. He owned a factory, where he employed his surviving son, Chris.
Initially, Joe seems like a very genial, good-natured man, almost like a surrogate
grandfather to the neighborhood kids. He was very outgoing with his neighbors, and had
a disarming tendency to engage in some self-deprecation, noting, among other things,
that he was not well educated or as articulate as those around him. It is partly a pose,
however, for he actually prided himself on his business acumen. His business means a
great deal to him, almost as much as his family.
Despite all this he decided to end his life.
According to our sources, the reason for the suicide, apparently, was the result of a family quarrel between him and his son Chris there were facts that shocked the two sides at the end of the fight Joe realized that he had not only lost his son Larry, he had also lost Chris.
This fact shocked him until he could not stand it, so he killed himself.
Joe will be missed by all of us.
